Let’s not let 2026 become “another year.”

It’s nearly mid-February… how are those goals going?

February 13, 20263 min read

We’re nearly halfway through February.

Be honest.

Are your New Year goals moving… even just 1%?

Or have they quietly slipped to the bottom of the pile while life got busy?

Here’s something that might surprise you.

By February 1, a huge chunk of people are already back in their old routines.

Same habits.

Same patterns.

Same results.

And another year slowly starts to look like the last one.

I don’t want that for you.

Yesterday I was looking back at our own plans for 2026.

Even with all the systems we teach, I could feel how easy it is to drift.

Meetings fill up.

Kids need things.

Work gets loud.

There was a moment where I thought,

“Wow… this year could disappear if I’m not careful.”

That was the wake-up call.

Not dramatic.

Just real.

Because growth doesn’t happen by accident.

It happens on purpose.

So here’s the simple shift.

Don’t restart everything.

Don’t build a giant to-do list.

Don’t try to fix your whole life this week.

Pick one thing.

One goal.

One habit.

One move forward.

Small steps still count.

If you planted a tree, you wouldn’t dig it up every week to check if it’s growing.

You’d water it.

You’d protect it.

You’d give it time.

Goals are the same.

Focus on one.

Water it daily.

Let it grow.

There’s a line I love:

“Direction matters more than speed.”

You don’t need to sprint.

You just need to not stand still.

At the start of the year I shared a simple 7-step reset to design 2026 on purpose.

If you need a restart, begin there:

Then choose one thing from it.

And here’s the part most people skip…

Tell someone.

Say it out loud.

When you share a goal, it becomes real.

And sometimes the person you tell has advice, tools or support you didn’t even know you needed.

If you’d like, just contact us or SMS to 0483 937 777 and tell me your one thing.

I want to see you win this year.
